Joe DiMaggio
Joe DiMaggio was born on November 25, 1914 in Martinez, California. He sadly died on March 8th 1999 in Hollywood, Florida. He played in one of the most iconic American sports, baseball. He played center fielder for the New York Yankees from 1936 to 1951.

- Joe DiMaggio was a three-time MVP winner and an All-Star in each of his 13 seasons.
- During his time with the New York Yankees they won nine World Series championships.
- At the time of his retirement, he ranked fifth in career home runs (361).
- He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955, and was voted the sport's greatest living player during the baseball centennial year of 1969
